Terms and Conditions

Placing the order

1.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order.
1.2 By confirming your order at the Checkout, you are offering to buy the products at the stated price and agreeing to our terms and conditions.
1.3 You will only own the goods once we have received payment in full.
1.4 Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT as appropriate. Non UK purchasers are responsible for any local taxes due on importation.

Supply

2.1 Products are subject to availability. We will refund any money already paid if we do not supply the product.
2.2 We have the right, at our discretion, to refuse to supply products ordered.

Delivery

3.1 Goods will be delivered within 30 days.
3.2 If we expect there to be a delay in delivery, we will let you know. You will have the option to wait or to cancel the order in which case we will refund any money already paid for the unfulfilled order.
3.3 For personalised products and orders over 1.5kg in weight a different delivery method may apply to that chosen in checkout.
3.4 You will be responsible for the goods once delivery is made, delayed by you at delivery, or delivery is not possible at the delivery address.
3.5 For orders returned not delivered, an additional shipping charge will be made to re-send.

Refunds

4.1 Please check the goods on delivery and inform us without delay if goods are damaged or faulty or there is a problem with the order. We will arrange with you for the return of the items and will either replace or refund. If goods are returned as faulty but then found there is no fault, a shipping charge may be made to return the goods to you.
4.2 If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of all or part of the ordered goods, except for earrings, personal items, edible items and personalised products within 14 working days of delivery. To cancel the contract, you must inform us within 14 working days of the day you receive the goods from us. You can inform us by email, fax or post. We do not refund postage or gift wrapping.
Following cancellation, goods must be returned to us in original unused condition including the goods own packaging with any seals and shrink wrap in tact.
We do not accept liability for the costs of return, returns damaged in transit or not received by us. For your protection, we recommend that you make sure the goods are adequately packaged and insured for their return journey. If we have not received the goods within 10 days of cancellation or if requested, we can collect the goods from you at your cost.
We shall refund the amount of money paid by you for the goods less any costs to collect the goods within 30 days of cancellation.
Gift wrapping is not refundable.
We do not refund any additional amount paid for special delivery service.
We do not refund postage if only part order is returned.
Return costs are not refunded.
Returns, with the exception of personalised products, should be to The Train Store, Unit 15 Le Clair Enterprise Centre, St Ives Close, Theale, Berkshire, RG7 5DW, UK. A return address will be advised for personalised products..

5.8 Handmade products may have unevenness in their finish compared with a manufactured product.

Liability

6.1 We will not be liable for compensation or damages if we do not supply the order or a part of the order.
6.2 You have the right to cancel the order if we are unable to deliver within 30 days. We will not be liable for any compensation or damages as a result of late or non-delivery.
6.3 We do not accept any responsibility for any web site not under our control which may be linked to this site.

Customer Information

7.1 We may hold information about you on our databases for the purposes of running our business. This information will be used for administering your order and we may use the information to contact you from time to time with information about The Inspirations Store unless you have requested us not to contact you. Requests should be made to privacy@the-train-store.co.uk.
7.2 By placing your order you are agreeing to allow us to use your personal details for the purpose of supplying goods which may include passing details on to third parties e.g. suppliers, couriers and subcontractors.

General

8.1 The Train Store is a trading name of ReadyWeb Limited (registered in England, UK: company number 3780151).
8.2 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England, UK. Any dispute or controversy, not resolved in the normal way, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of England, UK.
8.3 Each Term and Condition set out in this document shall be construed separately and will remain in force even if for any reason one or other of the Terms or Conditions is held inapplicable or unenforceable.
8.4 Section headings have been included in these Terms and Conditions for convenience only and are not to be used in their interpretation.
8.5 These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.
8.6 Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.
